Karimu Samuels
A Personal Brand Identity System is necessary for a business to expand and make sure that it is recognisable and memorable at any touchpoints with the audience.
Karimu Samuels is a Holistic Movement Coach, whose goal is to teach any movement enthusiast that everything is possible by strengthening the connection between the mind and the body. Through his approach to movement, he focuses on the mental blockages that stops one from achieving full presence, confidence and health.
Within this Branding, it was particularly important to focus on the connection between the body and the mind, but also on the personalised approach and needs that comes with every person entering the space of movement.
To highlight Karimu’s personal approach towards movement his signature was used as the main logo. The signature was copied, vectorized and refined to make sure it can be variously applied to the personal brand.
For the colour palette, a colour scheme emobodying the connection between the human and the roots, nature was chosen: nature, earth, air and water. This colours stand for grounding, steadiness, and flow, as in nature, which defines perfectly the impact of his practice within his audience.
For typography, Century Gothic Pro by Monotype for the modern elegance and timelessness.
It is upfront, geometric, and applicable on diverse applications, and playful combinations with other elements - for future brand collaborations.
The Branding Icon Set embodies directly the connection between the mind and the body.
The icons are applied on the website, as well as different applications such as: merch, posters, stickers. They are an essential part of the Brand Identity as they clearly explain what Karimu’s Movement Practice is all about - holistic inner and outer connection.
The New Brand Identity was applied as well to the website, where the initial content was kept, but the structure was changed to enhance the story of Karimu Samuels Movement.
Re:connect 2024 by Karimu Samuels
For Re:connect 2024 we have created a set of assets from Merch to team T-shirts and posters.
